This survey FORM covers some of the ‘behaviors’ that are the result of low morale, stress and dysfunction in teams or workgroups in the Comm Center.

It is important in compiling the results that factions are considered.  For example do supervisors see this differently than call takers or dispatchers?

I think this survey – if indicating group dysfunction is rampant –  must be followed up with a meeting possibly named “What Now?”  And if the survey shows very little or isolated negativity behavior or ‘perceptions’ – yay – this can result in a celebration of what is happening in this very GOOD work of 9-1-1.

And we all know – it is ALL Leadership.  This survey was created for a Comm Center in chaos.  Did it work – absolutely because people were ASKED and LISTENED TO.
